Service Description

The ACLS course is for the professionals in healthcare who are front and center in the management of cpr emergencies most likely in a hospital setting and involves giving life saving medications based on interpreting heart rhythms, in charge of airway management and post care of cardiac arrest victims. It builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills and emphasizes the importance of preventing cardiac arrest, early and continuous high-quality CPR, and high-performing teams. After successfully completion of the course, you should be able to - Define systems of care - Be able to systematically evaluate the BLS, Primary, and Secondary Assessments sequence for adult patients - Understand how to improve patient outcomes with a rapid response team (RRT) or medical emergency team (MET) - Recognize and manage Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS), including appropriate disposition - Recognize and many victims of stroke, including appropriate disposition - Recognize bradycardias and tachycardias - Perform early management of bradycardias and tachycardias - Role play effective communication as a member or leader of a high-performance team - Recognize the impact of team dynamics on overall team performance - Recognize respiratory arrest - Perform early management of respiratory arrest - Recognize cardiac arrest - Perform high-quality BLS including early chest compressions and know when to apply automated external defibrillator (AED) - Perform early management of cardiac arrest - Evaluate and monitor quality of CPR during resuscitative efforts during a cardiac arrest Classes are offered everyday including weekends. Virtual Learning, Blended or classroom style can be arranged. Hours vary on class length based on course objectives, renewal vs beginner courses, and class size, private instruction can also be arranged. We can also offer group classes for hospitals, small businesses, Corporations, churches, etc. Let us know we are flexible.
